About the game

A lunar cleanup job that grows with your crew.

Moon Sweepers is a cleaning game from DragDrop Games. The official store describes a crew sent to clear lunar dust with an underfunded starting kit, then build a larger operation through better tools, carrying capacity, stations and cleaning vehicles.

The guides here are written from the store, the 1.0.4 patch notes, dated community data and the original source list. They keep the difference between an official fact, a data snapshot and an open question visible.

Confirmed overviewSteam listing + 1.0.4 data

The cleaning loop, start to pay

The official listing describes the loop as collect lunar dust, fill storage, deliver the dust to a depot and launch a shipment to get paid. The current game calls its four deposit points stations; North Station is where the player starts. The opening route is short enough to test with the free Toothbrush before investing.

The money is in the material and the scale

Dust pays $1 per kilogram, sand $3 and moon stone $7 before payout upgrades. A pressure chamber turns dust into sand; a stone press turns dust plus sand into stone. The first machine is not automatically the best purchase if you cannot power it or feed it.

Tools, capacity and the upgrade matrix

Hand tools run from the free Toothbrush to the $150 Extra Wide Broom. The upgrade matrix holds 23 entries across Containers, Cleaning, Suit, Logistics and Economy. Fix the bottleneck in front of you before buying another bonus.

Stations, depots and vehicles

North, East, West and South are fixed stations. The Packager is the portable drop-off you can place near a work site. The Garage costs $200; cleaning vehicles start at $300 and climb to the $6,000 Mega Vacuum Rover.

Official patchOfficial patch notes

What 1.0.4 changed

Patch 1.0.4 improved J.O.O.N.A.S. cleaning and made the Capsule Catcher 100 kg. It added the improved Moon map, Night Vision Goggles for $350, faster saving and automatic backups. The patch also fixed several co-op, building and machine issues.

Shared wallet, personal tools and vehicles

A crew plays on the host's Moon. Money, the upgrade matrix, container levels and suit gear are shared; tools and vehicles belong to individual players. The host can kick or ban, and the host leaving ends the session.

Progress is measured in regions

Press G to scan the current sector. A region is done when at most 1% of its starting dust remains. The whole Moon has 163,842 regions, and the final ending plays only when they are all done.

Achievements are long ladders

The current build has 33 achievements. They track dust, deposits, launches, money, sections and Moon coverage. The rarest are the 10,000-deposit achievement and the 100% Moon completion, both a long way beyond a first session.

Mods are unofficial and loader-dependent

Nexus Mods has a Moon Sweepers catalog, with many plugins requiring BepInEx 6 IL2CPP and a game-specific patcher. Back up the save, use a separate test world and do not assume co-op support. There is no verified built-in cheat menu or console command list.

No official completion time

The goal is the whole Moon, not a story ending. No official hour count or verified 100% completion run was found. Launch-week reports cover small percentages and use different goals; this site does not turn them into an average.

Before you rely on a note

A few boundaries worth knowing.

Is this an official Moon Sweepers wiki?

No. It is an independently written reference. Moon Sweepers, its artwork and related materials belong to DragDrop Games; this site does not claim affiliation or endorsement.

Which game version do these guides describe?

They describe the Steam release dated 23 October 2026 and the v1.0.4 patch, checked on 28 October 2026. The game UI and Steam listing are the final authority for a later build.

Are mods, trainers or console commands covered?

They are covered on separate pages, with explicit version and safety limits. A Nexus mod, external trainer or creator-reported TikTok integration is not an official feature. No built-in console or verified command list was found.

How long does it take to finish the Moon?

There is no official completion time. The target is 163,842 regions, each at no more than 1% remaining dust. The checked launch-week reports cover small percentages, so they cannot be averaged into a finish time.

Can I play solo or offline?

Single-player is confirmed. Offline launch through Steam Offline Mode is not documented in the checked sources; test it with a backed-up, disposable save before trusting a long world to it.
